No Place for the Fake Princess

The MC forgiving her father/emperor ruins this, he was just as evil as the people who raised him and he didn't give a da**, he basically told the MC to die, he knew she heard it and he didn't care.

Now when the MC does change, she starts acting like someone in her 20s focusing on their studies for college, then her father has the audacity to want her to act like a child her age, even though he HATED her for doing just that until she changed.

This story is undeserved redemption.

Eeeeeeh. So okay sit down. I'm gonna egggggsplain something.

Injustice is often used to provoke an emotional response from a reader. Case in point: I am kicking this puppy. 

*puppy gets kicked. It whines, weakly.* 

As you can see, I am an àsshole. A piece of shít. The smarter ones among you (so a minuscule minority) may wonder, why did I kick the puppy? Are there extenuating circumstances? Is there an articulated Ivern-point-of-view that makes you empathize with kicking the everloving shît out of a small dog? Did the puppy deserve it? 

Well, sure. The smarter ones. The rest of you will most probably just be enraged. In front of injustice, we are disgusted and aggressive first, and we ask questions later. This is why, at first, this manga actually makes you feel something. You actually feel bad for FL, and participate in her struggle for survival.

Let's move on. I am now cuddling the puppy I kicked. Oooh aren't you sweet, you little furball? Am I not cute, too? Look at me, patting the puppy. Feeling a bit of remorse, too. 

It's here that, naturally, you look at me, you stare at me, and then you ask me what the GÓDDAMN FÚCK IS WRONG WITH ME. I don't make sense. Positive feelings, I repeat for the nth time, HAVE A LOGIC TOO. Even worse, in this analogy the puppy-FL loses that inch of relatability she once had, and becomes a bland character, devoid of complexity. Even WHEN it tries to characterize properly, it's at most one chapter per character, superficially too. The rest is filled with funny but undeserved fluff.

This kills my enthusiasm for the manga. The pacing doesn't help too, being deadly slow. I don't buy her character, her father's, her bio father's, her brothers', and even the antagonist's. Just when the art makes it bearable, the absolutely dreadful translation ruins it all again. 

Stop writing family themes if you don't know how people work. Stick to revenge, the simplest of all tropes. 7½ on the Ivern Scale™️, for the art and the suffering at the start.

Finally this is a story where the mc actually does what she said in the beggining, and we feel her emotions really strongly. 
The artstyle is amazing too (ˊ˘ˋ*)

Give it a chance, some people here actually  don't understand the story and says she is stupid for changing 💀 
The MC is not stupid (ˊ˘ˋ*) she has a plan _(:3 」∠)_

i love this manhwa i want more a soon as possible and i hope things will play out good for phil... 

It is a wmmap failed wannabe. Trying hard to excuse the father's behavior towards her before she started changing, when he was literally calling her her names and treating her like a nobody. All that just bcz she wasn't talented enough to be "worthy" to be his daughter. But the second she started changing and having good results studying and all, to him, she's suddenly cute and ward and has the right to act her age etc. The only good part is the art style. Sad this could have been a good one...

Its been awhile sinds a historical manhwa caught my attention and this one has a good plot im excited to see more off this.                 and the fl is so pretty

Its so worth reading, the ml(super green flag) and the father get enough character development and unlike the other "ill run away" kind of manwha *spoiler text* unlike the other manwhas that run away after 50+chapters. And the OFL isn't evil and rude, she even considered helping out when *spoiler text* happened. She is dislikeable at the first chapter tho(OFL).

And the dad is H.O.T😍😍
