Rocks
Kinda a miracle?
It's just 21 chapters. Concretely, it's nothing. It shouldn't be able to do much, at least not much more than being a fine pørn.
And guess what? If you thought that, you'd be wrong and a idiot and also your pee pee is short. I know, shocking. But for real, whoever wrote it has the science of pacing distilled to a T.
The plot is, by force majeure, pretty simple. Two childhood friends lost contact, met again, and Loki the Nordic g** of trickery and apparently college parties is also there. Cue a mountain of steamy s**. And drama. But mostly s**.
The last two chapters manage to pull off a pretty unexpected trick in the relationship dynamics, which checks out with the inner psychology of the cast. And Chase is one of my favorite supporting characters in all yaois, from design to personality. An honest, chill dude, who's unafraid and mellow. Again, the characterization has no business being this good when it completes all of its arcs in a couple dozen of chapters. To add, the writing and translation are perfectly adequate to the context of the story (hip and young college studs).
But let's get to the point. Is the scre**** hot? Oh my dear it is eminently fuckable. It's properly enthralling. You can edge, you can quickie it, but you will not be left wanting by the art. And isn't that what counts? That, and the fact that I could open a beer bottle with their jaws.
All in all, a notable example of a self-contained story, and a great yaoi. Bonus points for the art, a bit cartoony, but capable of some very warm and attractive panels. Do not trust its current rating. 9+ on the Ivern Scale™️!

COMMENTS
The writer tries to cram so many cliche yaoi storylines into this short manga, which means each plot point is too quick and there's no time to care about the situation before it's already over. MC and ML get together too quickly, the characters are annoying, then the villain gets a super quick redemption arc which is just stupid. Sorry but no-one becomes a narcissistic drugging rapist because they're a bit lonely.
It's drawn ok but a bit exaggerated for my taste. S** scenes are ok but half are sexual assault so it's not pleasant.
A couple of the translations are terrible but most are ok.
Overall not a good story and not worth reading.
