The story is pretty good. The Mc is summoned into a murim fantasy world that takes a different course from how the history we know of in 3 kingdoms. The MC starts off in dire straits and more often has to use his wits instead of his power to get out of situations.
For folks looking for an op mc, this series is more of a civ building story, most of the mc’s powers and ability comes from being good at using what he has around him than just overpowering enemies, especially using the talents of other characters. He does become op, but not for a while. The overarching plot is pretty good as he goes from a guy on the verge of losing everything to a capable warlord who has to save the world from the remnants of a disaster left behind centuries ago.
For people wondering about the romance, most of the female cast who becomes lovers are given pretty focused backstories, in particular the first female lead is really well done.
